Media Converters
Media converters provide lower latency than switches because they perform media conversion without the need for "store-and forward" Ethernet frame switching. Available models support conversion between copper and fiber optic cabling, as well as between 10BASE-T copper and 10BASE-T1L Single-Pair Ethernet, while preserving Ethernet auto-negotiation functionality.
