IO Modules provide a convenient way for expanding the number of I/O points in the field. For those installations that require a fieldbus solution such as Modbus RTU or BACnet MS/TP, Contemporary Controls provides the solution. Cost-effective Cube I/O modules are available with analogue and digital inputs and outputs in varying combinations.
"Some installations require that field input/output devices must be distributed away from the central controller," said Joe Stasiek, Sales Manager. "Or sometimes an integrator simply needs more points in Class 2 field installations. In either case, IO modules are the answer."
Cube I/O modules are available with varying configurations of analogue and digital inputs and outputs. Digital input modules can be configured to support either "wet or dry" contacts up to 10 points. There are also analogue input modules to measure voltage and resistance, analogue output modules that output voltage, relay output modules and mixed digital input/output modules. All modules operate from a 24 VAC/VDC supply.
